2006 Camyr Allyn Merlot

This wine is deep blood red in colour with aromas of raspberry, redcurrants and crushed tomato leaf and sensitively handled oak. The palate is rich and lush, with flavours of mulberries and plum, a hint of herbs and mouth filling but soft tannins. The finish is dry and the wine is a great accompaniment with duck, lamb and beef dishes.

This wine should mature well over the next three to five years.
